The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, largely in line with its levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.46-47 yen compared with 112.44-54 yen in New York and 112.54-55 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1944-1945 dollars and 134.32-33 yen against 1.1937-1947 dollars and 134.28-38 yen in New York and 1.1903-1904 dollars and 133.96-134.00 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
