At 5 p.m. local time (0800 GMT), the dollar was quoted at 112.05-06 yen compared with 112.38-48 yen in New York and 112.56-57 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday. It moved between 112.00 yen and 112.49 yen during the day.
The euro fetched 1.1757-1758 dollars and 131.74-78 yen against 1.1733-1743 dollars and 131.98-132.08 yen in New York and 1.1736-1737 dollars and 132.10-14 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
