The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-110 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday morning, virtually unchanged from levels overnight in London.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.61-62 yen compared with 110.50-60 yen at 4 p.m. in London and 110.81-82 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2266-2267 dollars and 135.68-69 yen against 1.2270-2280 dollars and 135.75-80 yen in London and 1.2211-2212 dollars and 135.31-35 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
Financial markets in the U.S. were closed on Monday for a national holiday.
