Hong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets rose to 443.5 billion U.S. dollars in February from 441.5 billion U.S. dollars in January, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority said on Wednesday.
Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, foreign currency reserve at the end of February increased to 434.9 billion U.S. dollars from 433 billion U.S. dollars in January.
The total foreign currency reserve assets of 443.5 billion U.S. dollars represent over seven times the currency in circulation or about 48 percent of Hong Kong dollar M3.
