The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, marginally higher than its levels late last week in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.89-91 yen compared with 110.70-80 yen in New York and 110.89-90 yen at 5 p.m. local time on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1764-1765 dollars and 130.46-48 yen against 1.1767-1777 dollars and 130.33-43 yen in New York and 1.1812-1813 dollars and 130.99-131.03 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
