The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.87-88 yen compared with 110.85-95 yen in New York and 110.73-74 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1640-1641 dollars and 129.06-10 yen against 1.1634-1644 dollars and 128.98-129.08 yen in New York and 1.1630-1631 dollars and 128.78-82 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
