The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 111 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, marginally higher than its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.00-01 yen compared with 110.84-94 yen in New York and 110.77-79 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1371-1373 dollars and 126.23-24 yen against 1.1372-1382 dollars and 126.12-22 yen in New York and 1.1367-1368 dollars and 125.91-95 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
