The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 114 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, little changed from its levels overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.95-96 yen compared with 113.93-114.03 yen in New York and 114.03-04 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1577-1578 dollars and 131.92-96 yen against 1.1574-1584 dollars and 131.92-132.02 yen in New York and 1.1595-1597 dollars and 132.22-26 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
