The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.62-63 yen compared with 112.61-71 yen in New York and 112.23-24 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1501-1501 dollars and 129.52-56 yen against 1.1495-1505 dollars and 129.51-61 yen in New York and 1.1563-1565 dollars and 129.77-81 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
