The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 113 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.02-03 yen compared with 112.99-113.09 yen in New York and 112.86-87 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1388-1389 dollars and 128.73-74 yen against 1.1381-1391 dollars and 128.71-81 yen in New York and 1.1387-1388 dollars and 128.52-56 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
