The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.40-41 yen compared with 110.33-43 yen in New York at 5 p.m. on Monday.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1278-1278 dollars and 124.51-55 yen against 1.1270-1280 dollars and 124.40-50 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in New York.
Financial markets here were closed on Monday for a national holiday.
