The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, dropping from its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.87-88 yen compared with 110.94-111.04 yen in New York and 110.37-39 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1378-1379 dollars and 126.15-16 yen against 1.1364-1374 dollars and 126.15-25 yen in New York and 1.1378-1379 dollars and 125.58-62 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
