Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) said on Thursday that it had amended rules on treatment over delivery defaulting behaviors.

After the amendment, if the failure to fulfill delivery obligations occurs, the defaulting party should pay 20 percent of contract values of defaulted contracts as compensation to the non-defaulting party and then, the contracts will be terminated for delivery.

The revised rules took effect from Thursday.
