ZHENGZHOU, April 2 (Xinhua) -- PTA (purified terephthalic acid) futures opened higher Tuesday on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE).
The most active PTA contract for May delivery gained 32 yuan (around 4.76 U.S. dollars) to open at 6,550 yuan per tonne.
As the world's largest producer and consumer of PTA, China listed PTA futures on the ZCE in 2006 and opened their trading to international investors in November 2018.
