Iron ore futures close flat

DALIAN, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Iron ore futures closed flat on Monday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active iron ore contract for January 2023 delivery closed at 745.5 yuan (about 104.62 U.S. dollars) per tonne.

On Monday, the total trading volume of 12 listed iron ore futures contracts on the exchange was 1,375,759 lots, with a turnover of about 100.48 billion yuan.

As the world's largest importer of iron ore, China opened the DCE iron ore futures to international investors in May 2018.
