Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched up on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery went up 16 cents, or 0.21 percent, to settle at 77.9 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery added 28 cents, or 0.36 percent, to settle at 81.92 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
