ICBC opens 7th sub-branch in Singapore

The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC; 01398.HK; 601398.SH), China's biggest bank by market value, opened a new sub-branch in Singapore on Monday, marking the seventh of its kind in that country.

The new sub-branch will provide all-sided retail banking services for individual clients, including multi-currency account opening, cash depositing and withdrawing, remittance, foreign currency exchange, bank card business, online banking business as well as 24-hour automatic teller machine (ATM) service.

"The new outlet will make more local clients in Singapore draw benefit from ICBC's products and services, especially RMB products and services," said the head of the sub-branch.
