China's stock markets in Shanghai and Shenzhen opened mixed on Monday. The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.45percent higher at 5,045.69.
The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.11 percent lower at 3,048.55. The SME Price Index for small firms was up 0.03 percent to open at 11,721.94 and the ChiNext Index opened 0.59 percent lower at 3,862.80.
Stocks of transport services, transport equipment, electricity gird, shipbuilding, environmental protection, property, automobiles, and liquor-making sectors led the gainers at Monday's opening, while, the leading losers were in internet, software services, computer equipment, mineral products, paper-making, logistics, coal, and telecom equipment sectors.
