Chinese shares open higher on Fri.

China's stock markets in Shanghai and Shenzhen opened higher on Friday.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.42 percent higher at 5,143.34.

The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.48 percent higher at 3,115.85.

The SME Price Index for small firms was up 0.23 percent to open at 11,962.64 and the ChiNext Index opened 0.70 percent higher at 3,889.16.

All listed sectors except for coal opened in the positive territory.

Stocks of public transport, telecom communication, medical treatment, transport services, software services, media and entertainment, and home appliances sectors led the gainers at Friday's opening.
