Mkt Talk: Chinese shares open lower on Wed.

China's stock markets in Shanghai and Shenzhen opened lower on Wednesday.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 1.19 percent lower at 3,881.23. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.88 percent lower at 2,264.24. The SME Price Index for small firms was down 0.49 percent to open at 8,881.30 and the ChiNext Index opened 1.48 percent lower at 2,658.84.

Stocks of transport, logistics, tourism, hotel, iron and steel, environmental protection, transport facilities, agricultural, petroleum, coal, insurance, securities brokerage, property, telecom operation and pharmaceutical sectors led the losers at the opening while those in aviation, shipbuilding, textile and household electric appliances sectors were the top gainers.
