Balance of margin financing business on Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses stood at 966.087 billion yuan by October 15, 11.229 billion yuan more than that of the previous day, marking a sixth straight rise, according to statistics released by the two bourses.
The margin financing balance on Shanghai bourse reached 600.86 billion yuan by October 15, 5.4 billion yuan more than that of the previous day.
It was the first time for the margin financing balance exceeding the 60 billion yuan over the past one month. Meanwhile, the margin financing balance on Shenzhen Stock Exchange recorded 365.224 billion yuan by October 15, 5.83 billion yuan more than that of the previous day.
