CITIC Securities (600030.SH) announced to raise its margin guarantee ratios for margin trade and short selling businesses.
China Securities Journal reported on Wednesday that the margin ratio for margin trading, short selling business for most blue chips on the Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses increased to 0.7 from 0.5.
Raising the guarantee ratios for margin trade and short selling businesses is expected to slow down capital inflows into the domestic stock market, and plus current acceleration of IPOs.
