Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses recorded 353,600 new investors last week (November 9-13), up 18 percent as compared with the figure for the previous week, according to statistics published by China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. (CSDC) on Tuesday.
Stock trading activities turned quite active last week with a total of 25.55 million investors participating in stock trading, representing 26.59 percent of the total. By November 13, 49.62 million investors held stock positions, accounting for 51.63 percent of the total, down slightly from 51.66 percent seen a week before.
