Stock indices tracking Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses opened mixed on Monday.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.07 percent lower at 3,433.86. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.15 percent higher at 2,187.33. The SME Price Index for small firms was up 0.16 percent to open at 8,109.26 and the ChiNext Index opened 0.36 percent higher at 2,658.97.
Stocks of shipbuilding, logistics, chemical fiber, insurance, computer equipment, public transport, securities dealers, aviation devices, steel, nonferrous metal sectors led the losers at Monday's opening, while, the leading gainers were in tourism, mineral products, engineering machinery, internet, medical treatment, environmental protection, electricity grid, and petroleum sectors.
