Stock indices tracking Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses opened mixed on Friday.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.14 percent lower at 3,574.94. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.02 percent lower at 2,341.75. The SME Price Index for small firms was up 0.13 percent to open at 8,523.65 and the ChiNext Index opened 0.04 percent higher at 2,836.92.
Stocks of nonferrous metals, paper-making, insurance, Internet, securities dealers, hotels, telecom operation, natural gas, banking, coal, and automobiles sectors led the losers at Friday's opening, while the leading gainers were in mineral products, logistics, transport services, food and beverage, software services, steel, environmental protection, building materials, and aviation devices sectors.
