Stock indices tracking Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses opened lower on Friday.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.65 percent lower at 2,988.05. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.76 percent lower at 1,845.17, The SME Price Index for small firms opened 0.70 lower at 6,794.18, and the ChiNext Index opened 0.68 percent lower at 2160.17.
All listed sectors except for aviation devices opened in the negative territory. Stocks of hotels, tourism, coal, steel, insurance, media and entertainment, environmental protection, public transport, transport services, and mineral products sectors led the losers at Friday's opening.
