U.S.-listed Chinese firms trade mixed

U.S.-listed Chinese companies traded mixed on Monday with five of the 10 stocks by weight in the S&P U.S. Listed China 50 index ending the day on a downbeat note.

Shares of Yum China and Alibaba declined 1.91 percent and 1.23 percent respectively, leading the laggards in the top 10 stocks.

Shares of New Oriental and BeiGene rose 1.83 percent and 0.98 percent respectively, leading the gainers.

U.S. stocks closed higher on Monday as investors digested a batch of second-quarter corporate earnings reports.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 39.60 points, or 0.16 percent, to 25,502.18. The S&P
