Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.18 percent to open at 2,596.26 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.1 percent higher at 7,581.29 points.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was up 0.12 percent to open at 1,266.63 points Friday.
The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and the Shenzhen SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) Board Index, are major indices reflecting the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
