The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) is working to further refine power-coal price linkage mechanism, said Xu Kunlin, head of the Price Department under the NDRC, at a news conference.
The NDRC is making the refinement of power-coal price linkage mechanism a priority, using the low coal price to groom prominent structural contradiction, said Xu, noting that detailed measures would be released in future. The NDRC would also try to publish China Power Coal Price Index monthly, said Xu.
