China will work to establish preliminary policy and regulation systems for green living by 2020, according to the implementation opinions on advancing green living style published by the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP).
The MEP would formulate ten measures to push forward green living following previously released ten measures on controlling air pollution as stipulated in the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan as well as the action plan for preventing and controlling water and soil pollution, the MEP said, reported China Securities Journal.
The MEP would also set down standards that are in line with ecological environmental protection requirements for various industries and fields while give policy and technical support to green product manufacturing enterprises.
Also, the MEP would carry out a green-credit plan and give special funding support and tax preferences to projects that adopt energy-saving technologies and are beneficial to green consumption, it said.
