China will support different social capital to participate in the construction of agriculture-related e-business platforms, to boost the integration of offline industrial development platforms and online e-business platforms, according to the guidance on boosting new supply reform issued by the State Council on Monday.
The document says China will expand rural consumption market, optimize rural consumption environment, accelerate rural consumption infrastructure construction, and greatly reduce rural logistic costs, in a bid to fully release rural consumption potential. It also says China will give full play to small towns in connecting urban and rural areas, improve the service function of industries, culture, tourism and society, strengthen the collection and distribution capacity of commodities and factors, and encourage eligible areas to build distinctive small towns.
