Exports, which account for about half of the economy, reduced 4. 7 percent from a year earlier to 44.43 billion U.S. dollars in November, according to the Ministry of Trade Industry and Energy.

The November decline was up from a 15.8 percent plunge tallied in October but maintained a downward trend for 11 months in a row.

Imports tumbled 17.6 percent to 34.07 billion dollars in the cited period, sending the November trade surplus to 10.36 billion dollars. Trade balance stayed in the black for 46 months in a row since February 2012.
