Spanish banks' bad loan ratio falls to 9.23 pct in Nov.

Spanish banks' non-performing loans as a percentage of a total credit stood at 9.227 percent in November, according to data released on Wednesday by the Bank of Spain.

The ratio was the lowest level since May of 2012.

The Bank of Spain said that bad debts within the Spanish banking system stood at 118.235 billion euros (126.347 billion U.S. dollars) by the end of November 2016, while total credit portfolio stood at 1.281 trillion euros.

Spanish banks' bad loan ratio peaked at 13.6 percent in December of 2013.
