Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 3.6 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2017, official data showed on Tuesday.
According to preliminary data released by the country's National Statistical Institute (NSI), the GDP at current prices amounted to 13.6 billion U.S. dollars, or 1,918 dollars per person.
Exports and imports of goods and services increased by 6.5 percent and 7.7 percent respectively compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous year, the NSI figures showed.
According to the NSI, Bulgaria's GDP grew by 3.4 percent year-on-year in 2016, 3.6 percent in 2015, and 1.3 percent in 2014.
