SINGAPORE, Oct. 17, 2019 /Bernama-AsiaNet/ --
Drawing on her personal memoir Becoming, ‘An Evening with Michelle Obama’ will leave attendees inspired after a night to remember on Saturday, 14 December 2019

Leading business events provider, The Growth Faculty will present ‘An Evening
with Michelle Obama’ for one night only in Singapore this December.

Following President Barack Obama’s ( https://www.thegrowthfaculty.com/event.php?eventId=a1J4G00000BHcxp&promoCode=PR&utm_source=PR )
first public business event in Singapore, the Former First Lady, Michelle Obama ( https://www.thegrowthfaculty.com/event.php?eventId=a1J4G00000BHif0&promoCode=PR&utm_source=PR ) will also take the stage in a separate event to share experiences from her New York Times No.1 best-seller, Becoming.

‘An Evening with Michelle Obama’ will explore the moments, both public and private, that have shaped the former First Lady’s life.

Reflecting on experiences shared in her book Becoming, attendees will hear about Mrs Obama’s time growing up in the South Side of Chicago, her time as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work, as well as highlights from the eight transformative years she served as First Lady of the United States of America.

Michelle Obama, the first African-American to serve as First Lady, helped create the most welcoming and inclusive White House in history, while also establishing herself as a powerful advocate for women and girls in the United States and around the world.

“Lawyer, first lady, mother of two and global role model, Michelle Obama's extraordinary story is one that fascinates and inspires business leaders and people everywhere.”

“It’s an incredible honour to bring this once in a lifetime event to Singapore. Michelle Obama is one of the most influential women of our time. This is a truly special occasion for Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.” says Karen Beattie, Founder of The Growth Faculty.

“Our events support professionals and individuals to hone their leadership skills, navigate disruption and drive growth. Singapore is a central business hub for many organisations in our region; we are committed to connecting the Asian business community with the world’s preeminent change-makers to inspire the leaders of today and tomorrow,” says Ms Beattie.

The Growth Faculty invites business leaders and members of the community, from Australia and the Asia-Pacific region to attend this incredibly special event.

Barack Obama will be joined by Michelle Obama during his visit to Singapore in December, where Barack Obama will address Asia Pacific business leaders at a special event titled, ‘In Conversation with President Barack Obama’ ( https://www.thegrowthfaculty.com/event.php?eventId=a1J4G00000BHcxp&promoCode=PR&utm_source=PR ) on 16 December at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre.

‘In Conversation with President Barack Obama’ ( https://www.thegrowthfaculty.com/event.php?eventId=a1J4G00000BHcxp&promoCode=PR&utm_source=PR ) will see the 44th President of the United States discuss his time in office and his thoughts on leadership in the world.
