VIENTIANE, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) and the Czech Chamber of Commerce have agreed to cooperate to increase trade and investment between the two countries.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Lao capital Vientiane on Friday between LNCCI President Oudet Souvannavong and Vice President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce Borivoj Minar, local daily Vientiane Times reported on Monday.
The MoU was signed during a meeting between LNCCI leaders and Lao business entrepreneurs with the Czech Republic delegation.
The agreement aims to bring closer ties between businesspeople of both countries and to explore new opportunities for economic and industrial cooperation. Under the agreement, both parties will exchange information and expand technical, scientific, economic and industrial relations, according to the report.
