Dollar changes hands around 106.59 yen level in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changes hands around the 106.59 yen level in early deals in Tokyo on Monday.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 106.59-60 yen, compared with 107.98-108.08 yen in New York and 105.83-85 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1153-1156 dollars and 118.92-119.02 yen against 1.1112-1122 dollars and 119.85-95 yen in New York and 1.1179-1181 dollars and 118.31-35 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
