Vietnam's COVID-19 cases increase to 267

HANOI, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's Ministry of Health on Wednesday morning confirmed one more COVID-19 case, bringing the total in the country to 267.

The new case is a 46-year-old male living in Hanoi's Ha Loi village whose wife and daughter were also confirmed to be infected. The village, located on the outskirt of the capital city, has been placed under quarantine after one villager was confirmed to have contracted the virus.

Vietnam had 1,658 suspected cases with nearly 68,000 being monitored and quarantined as of Wednesday morning, while 169 patients had recovered with no deaths reported, according to the health ministry.
