Singapore's NODX sees continued growth

SINGAPORE, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) grew for the 12th consecutive month this November, and year-on-year growth expanded from 17.8 percent in October to 24.2 percent, Enterprise Singapore, a government agency, announced on Friday.

The electronic NODX expanded by 29.2 percent year on year in November, extending an increase of 14.9 percent in October. Meanwhile, the non-electronic NODX growth expanded from 18.8 percent to 22.7 percent.

On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, Singapore's NODX increased by 1.1 percent in November to 16.5 billion Singapore dollars (about 12.1 billion U.S. dollars), following the previous month's 4.1 percent growth.

Singapore's non-oil re-exports (NORX) grew by 20.7 percent year on year in November, following a rise of 17.7 percent in October. Both electronic and non-electronic NORX grew.
