The bank's monthly Expectations Survey, which consults economists and financial institutions, showed a range of expected GDP growth between 3 percent and 5.01 percent.
Meanwhile, the Uruguayan government has forecast that the economy will grow by 3.8 percent this year, down from 4.4 percent in 2021.
Analysts also projected an 8.5 percent annual inflation for 2022, according to the survey.
