MOSCOW, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Moscow Exchange said Wednesday that it will allow non-residents from friendly countries to trade on the bond market starting Aug. 15.

"Starting August 15, 2022, the Moscow Exchange will provide non-resident clients from countries that are not hostile, as well as non-residents whose ultimate beneficiaries are Russian legal entities or individuals, to make transactions on the bond market," the exchange said in a statement.

It added that professional participants had started carrying out identification procedures and registering non-resident clients since Monday.

On Monday, the exchange started to permit non-residents from friendly countries to trade on its derivatives market.
