ISLAMABAD, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Forty-five percent of the Pakistani people are optimistic about the country's economic situation in the next six months, showed the results of a recent survey. In the survey, Gallup and Gilani Pakistan asked a question, "in your opinion, what do you expect Pakistan's economic situation to be in the next 6 months?" The survey found "Six percent responded that it is much better, 39 percent said it is better, 21 percent said there is no change, 23 percent said it is worse, 5 percent said it is much worse and 6 percent said that they did not know." The same question was also asked in the first quarter of the year, and in that survey 5 percent said Pakistan's economic situation would be much better in the next six months while 27 percent said it would be better, according to the data previously released.
