In a breakdown, the electronic NODX contracted by 17.9 percent year on year in December, following the 20.2 percent decrease in the previous month. The non-electronic NODX declined by 21.3 percent year on year in December, following the 12.8 percent decrease in the previous month.
On a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, Singapore's NODX decreased by 3.3 percent in December 2022 to 13.9 billion Singapore dollars (about 10.53 billion U.S. dollars), after the previous month's 9.2 percent decline.
Overall, Singapore's NODX grew by 3 percent in 2022.
Singapore's non-oil re-exports (NORX) declined by 7.2 percent year on year last December, after the revised 4.5 percent decrease in the previous month. Both electronics and non-electronics declined in the month. Overall, NORX grew by 13.4 percent in 2022.
Singapore's oil domestic exports expanded by 24.6 percent year on year in December 2022, following the 9.9 percent growth in November.
