The producer price index (PPI) added 0.1 percent in March from a month ago, after going up 0.2 percent in February and 0.4 percent in January each, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
Service price among suppliers increased 0.1 percent last month on higher prices for the eatery and lodging service, caused by the lifting of measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Price for industrial products climbed 0.2 percent on expensive chemical products that offset cheaper oil products.
Price for agricultural, livestock and fishery products declined 0.9 percent, keeping a downward trend for the second successive month.
Producer price for electricity, natural gas and tap water shed 0.4 percent in March from a month earlier, after sliding 0.3 percent in the prior month.
