U.S. crude oil imports averaged 6.517 million barrels per day (b/d) last week, down by 1.065 million b/d from the previous week, while crude oil exports averaged 5.067 million b/d, up by 1.977 million b/d, according to the EIA's Weekly Petroleum Status Report.

Over the past four weeks, U.S. crude oil imports averaged about 6.872 million b/d, up by 7.9 percent from the same period last year; U.S. crude oil exports averaged about 4.404 million b/d, up by 21.9 percent year on year.
