The sector raked in 34.27 billion dollars from exports during the cited period, up 18.8 percent from the same period last year, said the report.
Agricultural products brought home 18.21 billion dollars, forestry products 9.41 billion dollars, aquatic products 5.29 billion dollars, and livestock products 288 million dollars, up 23.4 percent, 21.1 percent, 7.3 percent and 4.8 percent, respectively.
Timber and wood products earned the highest export values with 8.78 billion dollars, up 21.9 percent year-on-year, followed by coffee with 3.54 billion dollars, up 30.9 percent.
The United States, China and Japan remained the largest importers of Vietnamese agro-forestry-aquatic products from January to July, according to the ministry.
