Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched down on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery lost 20 cents, or 0.25 percent, to settle at 81.07 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery decreased 17 cents, or 0.2 percent, to settle at 85.78 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
