Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery added 1.24 U.S. dollars, or 1.54 percent, to settle at 81.57 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery increased by 1.08 dollars, or 1.28 percent, to settle at 85.33 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
