China launched proposals for the country's development over the next five years on Tuesday, which is expected to trigger thematic investment opportunities for related companies listed on China's Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, China Securities Journal reported on Wednesday.
Analysts deem that listed companies related to energy saving and environmental protection, TMT, bio-pharmaceuticals and military sectors may benefit most from the Plan. Besides, companies with "Internet Plus" and China's state-owned enterprise reform are expected to be the hottest thematic investment targets in the next five years.
