The Belt and Road is not China's solo, but will be a symphony played by all parties, Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao said here on Wednesday evening.
Li called on relevant countries to make joint efforts to promote construction of the Belt and Road as he made a speech at the reception of the "Asian Political Parties' Special Conference on the Silk Road."
The Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative announced by President Xi Jinping in 2013 has got positive responses for it met with development needs of Asian countries and other countries along the Belt and Road, according to Li.
The vice president called on the delegates participating in the special conference to draw up a blueprint for future development, push forward pragmatic cooperation to realize mutual benefit and win-win result.
With the theme "New Vision of the Silk Road, Actions for Common Development," the three-day special conference was opened earlier Wednesday.
Delegates of over 60 political parties and organizations from more than 30 countries attended the conference.
